From social media campaigns, to birthday sizzle reels, and corporate event recaps, we have offer cinematic quality content to your personal brand. Below are a few of our clients and projects we have worked on the past.

Cuntinuum
In early 2025, a friend and former collaborator reached out to me asking if I could help promote an event. But, this was not just any event, she described it as "not a party, but a portal to joy and liberation ".
The event would become Cuntiuum, a night for creativity, community, and connection particularly for Nashville's Black and queer communities. It created a safe place for those unrepresented to feel seen and free. And it would go on to become the premiere event for Nashville's annual Black Pride Weekend.
I was honored to help promote such an event and overall we were able to draw a crowd of 200+ people to Cuntiuum and Nashville Black Pride 2025. Altogether, I helped convey Cuntiuum's message of liberation through three sizzle reels that turned up the heat in Nashville.

Riddim n' Spice & The Rum Room
Fresh out of Vanderbilt University, I secured a position as the Content Creator and Digital Marketing Intern at Riddim n' Spice—a fast, family-dining restaurant serving Caribbean cuisine to the Nashville Metropolitan area. More than just a dining experience, this restaurant doubles as a speakeasy in the evening, as it has a hidden bar called The Rum Room.
During the summer internship, I was tasked with capturing food preparation, events, private parties, and more. I logged over 200 hours of footage and edited daily content to increase overall brand engagement.

MashUp's The Wholiness Project
2024 brought the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Nashville non-profit, MashUp!. MashUp! is dedicated to providing holistic health and wellness resources to Black LGBTQ+ communities. I met their founder and COO and he pitched a profound idea to me: The Wholiness Project.
The Wholiness project would create inclusive spaces and offer educational dialogue for queer individuals whose spirituality feels in conflict with their sexuality. This project was dedicated to rectifying the relationship between the Church and the Queer community. MashUp! knew that many churches had rejected their community and so they wanted to bring Church to those in the LGBTQ+ community in a safe and constructive way. And, MashUp! needed a videographer to capture it all. It was truly my honor to be apart of such an important and divine effort.
During this project, I created an opening theme to be used as the initial marketing teaser. I additionally edited two featurettes of the CEO and COO. I got to produce two short documentaries with local clergymen who also happened to be queer. Finally, I served as the on-site videographer for their opening Wholiness Brunch and created a recap video of the event.

New Hope Academy
More than filmmaking, Vortex 5 also provides creative direction consultations and services. A highlight of this aspect of my business, was when my former elementary school—New Hope Academy of Franklin, TN—asked me to serve as creative director for a film to be showcased at their annual fundraising banquet. I was tasked with capturing the essence of the school, including its faith-based and diversity-driven mission patterned after the teachings of preacher and activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In January and February of 2024, I traveled with five faculty members, ten students, and a freelance videographer to Montgomery and Selma, Alabama, to carry out this project.
The final project, "Living Out the Dream," was a well-received success, that raised a gross total of $223,000—emphasizing the effectiveness and profitability of the services I offer.
Producing such great results required me to take on many responsibilities to achieve New Hope's vision, including:
- Location Scouting
- Storyboarding
- Creative Storytelling
- Team Collaboration
- Mis-en-Scene & Visual Organization
- Directing & Talent Coaching
- Fundraising Strategy Integration
- Camera Op for BTS

Rent-a-Videographer
A camera is not merely a tool for cinema, but a way to capture joy in daily life. And there is no better moment for joy than one's birthday, and so I launched my Rent-a-Videographer campaign. Rent-a-videographer allows client's to book me as their personal cinematic architect, ready to produce a film-quality video shoot, professionally edited into a one of a kind fan-cam. Birthday's were a great launching point for this campaign as it was a way to delver priceless joy while also elevating my ability to produce professional, cinematic content all with a one-woman-crew.
From birthdays to bachelorettes, Vortex 5 aims to be your personal paparazzi during your booking—because everyone deserves to feel like a star.

Shot on iPhone
Back in 2023, on my 21st birthday, I challenged myself to take more photos. But to really up the stakes, I wanted to use only my iPhone for the first three months. This experiment to improve professionally, birthed a segment I call "Shot on iPhone". From still photos to short ads, I am always capturing quality content on my phone—showing that cinema is everywhere.

Film and Art Photography
Like a great writer needs a vast library to expand their craft and knowledge—a great filmmaker needs have photography to sharpen their cinematic eye. Since high school, I have practiced art photography, slowly honing my style to be a fusion of collage and street art.
More than a hobby, art photography allowed me to travel to Brooklyn, NY in the Fall of 2025 to show work as an exhibited artist at Monad Gallery & Agency. I was one of 100 artists exhibited during a weekend gallery, called "Herstory"—showcasing the artistic contributions of local Black women.
