New Hope Academy

More than filmmaking, Vortex 5 also provides creative direction consultations and services. A highlight of this aspect of my business, was when my former elementary school—New Hope Academy of Franklin, TN—asked me to serve as creative director for a film to be showcased at their annual fundraising banquet. I was tasked with capturing the essence of the school, including its faith-based and diversity-driven mission patterned after the teachings of preacher and activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In January and February of 2024, I traveled with five faculty members, ten students, and a freelance videographer to Montgomery and Selma, Alabama, to carry out this project.
The final project, "Living Out the Dream," was a well-received success, that raised a gross total of $223,000—emphasizing the effectiveness and profitability of the services I offer.
